Still no pace alarms, and I tried not to look at my pace. I did keep a rough track of my mileage as I ran a route I don't normally run, but other than that (and sneaking a peek at my time for my first mile), I just ran.

I love the way that I naturally do negative splits! I can say that without feeling narcissistic because I have no cognizant part in doing them. Go legs!

I also am happy that I was able to maintain the pace that I did without straining anything. I paid attention to pointing my feet straight forward and maintaining a comfortable pace. The last two miles were slightly uncomfortable, but far from huffing and puffing.
