I definitely ran my second mile faster than my first one, although I don't have the split to show for it. I consciously pushed my pace on the second mile and thanks to reading my watch wrong, I ran harder to beat my Wed time.
My timer shows the total time in large numbers and the lap time in small numbers. Well, during my second mile, I kept glancing at my watch's large numbers and saw them approaching my target time. When I was finished, I thought I had bettered my time by 13 seconds; on closer inspection, I was very encouraged to see it was 1 minute, 13 seconds. Yay on me!!
Tomorrow is the grueling workout, and I believe I'll hit the same mileage that I did today on Monday just to take it easy.
